Ailsa McDougall
MCSP

I qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist from Pinderfields School of Physiotherapy, Wakefield in 1989

When I joined in 1986, Pinderfields was one of two Remedial Gymnastic Training Schools, a profession which focuses on rehabilitative programmes that improve or restore human motor functions, maximise movement ability, relieve pain syndromes, and treat or prevent physical challenges associated with injuries, diseases and other impairments.

The two professions amalgamated and I received training in both professions which has served me well throughout my career as a Physiotherapist in the NHS, Private clinics and overseas.

I have extensive experience in hydrotherapy, orthopaedics, pre and post operative rehabilitation, posture and ergonomic conditions, paediatrics, neurology and also do home visits for patients unable to attend the clinic.
